Dr. Simonian developed a free Google Assistant App that will help parents find the dose of Ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) or Acetaminophen (Tylenol or Tempra) for fever or pain. If you have an Android phone or other Android device the Google Assistant is built in and you only need open the Assistant app and say either “Ask Drug Dose Helper,” “Speak to Drug Dose Helper” or “Talk to Drug Dose Helper” to get the information to help your child. It will ask if you want Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen then you tell it how much you child weighs in whole pounds (use whole measures like 18, 24 not fractions - 12 1/2 or 12.5) to find the dose specific for your child).

For iPhone users, the Google Assistant is available for free through the App Store.

The Google Assistant will run on Android, Apple, or Windows phones and is free.
